It is predominantly mothers with children, and the elderly who come to live in the UK from Ukraine. Many arrive with limited English skills and no prior experience of living abroad. Often their beloved fathers, sons and husbands have been forced to remain in Ukraine to defend their country.
Our weekly community coffees are a place for host and guest families to connect, commune and build lifelong friendships. We offer free activities for children and adults such (English, art, cooking, football, etc.) as well as run Q&A sessions on various issues of settling in London, such as registering with GP, finding work, etc.
£10 allows us to print and distribute our practical guides in Ukrainian and English for one community coffee

£200 supports 4 sessions of basic English classes for 15 children and their parents
